CHARACTER
NAME: Sesshomaru.
CANON: Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale.
CANON POINT: End of the anime series and re-app.
AGE: 900+ years old, but physically, he does not look older than 19-year-old.
BACKGROUND: Inuyasha Wikia.

PERSONALITY:

Youkai. Sesshomaru is essentially youkai nobility. The way that he responds to everything is fundamentally different than most .Firstly, he takes full responsibility for his actions. To claim anyone else is to blame is to say that he isn't the master of his own fate. It is why he never takes umbrage to Inuyasha cutting off his arm; it happened in battle and he underestimated his opponent.

He considers true strength to be able to stand alone against everything. If he sees a matter beneath him, he will have Jaken handle it, but when he is actually in battle, he wants no one to help him. Like, he may ask questions, but that is only to point him to how he can solve the situation himself. It is only when he's truly desperate does he seek out someone to assist him.

His self-reliant attitude may seem contradictory given how obsessed he was with Tessaiga. But he only wanted Tessaiga because he saw it as his birthright. To have Tessaiga given to Inuyasha was an insult. It gave the impression Toga favored Inuyasha to the point of shunning Sesshomaru's existence. It takes a long time before he realizes Toga did not consider him his heir, because he believed Sesshomaru would surpass him.

Finally, he can be ruthlessly rational. Like when he is testing Inuyasha to see if he really is their father's heir, he is willing to let both swords and the two of them fall to Underworld. He sees no reason to offer help (even if it is to save his own life) as his test is to prove Inuyasha as capable at properly wielding Tessaiga.

Aloof and proud. A person has to be used to long silences and brief answers when talking to him. He only ever says as much as he needs, and rarely any more. His manner of speech is also described as a noble speaking to peasants. Simply, he never "lowers himself" down to anyone. Sesshomaru also utilizes double-talk, where he says one thing but means another.

He has complete control over his feelings and rarely ever becomes irrational. In fact, people are rarely able to tell what exactly he is feeling at any given time. Sesshomaru also never cries – not even when he is alone. Crying is a sign of weakness and he would never openly display. It doesn't matter how much pain he is in physically or emotionally; he would attempt to keep the same stoic expression. At most, a person might see him grimace.

Anyway, he is an extremely proud person. He will similarly only allow a person to insult him so many times before he acts. However, that does not mean that he always responds to someone goading him on. He has a surprising amount of restraint. Like he takes how Inuyasha's companions speak to him in stride.

Acting emotional over all insults would be beneath him. It is the way a person insults his pride that will cause him to act. What insults him is when people act as though they can manipulate him with his emotions (re: Naraku kidnapping Rin in an attempt to force Sesshomaru to kill Inuyasha). He doesn't like someone telling him what to do, nor attempting to manipulate him to act how they want.

Clever and intuitive. Sesshomaru is not a tactician; he does not plan his battles beforehand. Instead, he adapts to how the other person fights. He still has yet to discover what his own limits are, and so the only time he encounters trouble is when he underestimates his opponents. Additionally, he does not normally employ underhanded means to win. If he is going to win, he is going to win by his own skills.

His combat intuitiveness relates to how he understands people. For the most part, he is able to comprehend another person's mind with minimal amount of information. Like how he was able to immediately understand what Toga wanted him to do when he mastered Meido Zangetsuha and saw how the ability responded to Tessaiga. His father wanted him to let Tessaiga to acquire the perfected ability and help strengthen Inuyasha.

However, it is not a tried-and-true method. If the person's overly vague or he does not know them that well (has not faced them in combat, for instance); he is unable to discern what it is that they want. Like while he understands Toga wanted Inuyasha to acquire Meido Zangetsuha, it seemed cruel to have Sesshomaru master it for him. But his father actually wanted them to get along yet tried to accomplish it in a way that constantly Sesshomaru's standing, which muddled the intent his father had.

Compassionate and kind. It was said that only someone with a caring heart would be able to wield Tensaiga, and Sesshomaru has always been able to use the sword. He has always been kind, but he considers kindness and compassion to be a weakness. So, he uses his double-talk to hide what he is actually doing. Like when he goes to the Underworld to save Rin and Kohaku, he says he is going to fight the hellhound.

However, people have noticed that he has become kinder. They recognize that he honestly cares about Rin. The same could be said about how he feels about Jaken. However, Jaken is both a youkai and his servant, so he is less lenient with how he treats him. If a person shows themselves capable, he will treat them as such with little-to-no coddling.

He's also not unreasonable or unforgiving like some youkai. It is just that he accepts apology in actions over words. Like when Sango almost kills Rin because she was fooled by an illusion; she takes responsibility for what happened and asked to be killed only after Naraku was defeated. He later sees her attempt to make amends in battle by protecting Rin. Therefore, he lets her live without another word of what happened.

End canon changes and Prismatica growth. Due to being from the end of the series, his behavior is different than how it used to be. He's still as ruthless as ever, but doesn't kill on sight. He is willing to listen to the words of others before he decides to cut them apart, and he has shown that he relies and believes in others more than he did in the past. Like when he lets Inuyasha and Kagome handle an attack on the village that Rin is in. He only comes to stand guard where Rin is, but otherwise does not interfere. It's best to say that Sesshomaru has taken "one small step" to becoming little less prickly about, well, everything. It's a small step, and most people would think he hasn't changed that much at all save that he is a little more patient and understanding to others. But honestly, given how he was, that is a big change.

Since Sesshomaru has been in game before for a few months; he has changed a little more in how he acts. He's gotten himself involved more in the events that happen to protect the people. It's because he's aligned himself with those that care about the general welfare of the population. If it were not for those caring hearts, he probably would remain uninvolved in what happens. Before, in his own canon, he would have let matters be settled by others due to considering such things beneath him. But in Lunatia, he doesn't want his people to suffer and will use all of his strength to protect them. He fights for them.

POWERS/ABILITIES:

Enhanced speed, agility, strength, senses, and reflexes. He is a 5-Star SSS character. But to further explain his sense of smell, he has a very keen nose like any dog. He is able to track Magatsuhi across the country. However, unlike Inuyasha, he doesn't seem bothered by strong scents.

Physical durability and regeneration. Not only is it difficult to hurt him, but he quickly regenerates when injured. He also has a high tolerance for pain. Like, the Tessaiga has a spiritual barrier around it that burns his flesh but he is able to wield it for as long as needed.

Flight. Like, he is shown to be able to surround himself in a ball of light and fly a great distance within the span of a few seconds; this will be nerfed to where he can't do that anymore. His general ability to fly will not be.

Expert swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat.

Poison claws and immunity. He actually has his own poison in his body, which makes him immune to all poison that he encounters in the series. His poison will be nerfed considerably because when used, it has the ability to literally melt people and objects. It'll be weakened to where it will cause the usual poison status effect but a person can be healed from it. However, his immunity to poisons will remain the same.

Light whip. The ability to create a whip of light. It has been shown to repel most attacks. It also has the ability in canon to cut through flesh and bone easily. Again, it'll be nerfed to where it'll cause serious damage, like about as much as being sliced with a sword but won't immediately rend through a person's body if they happened to be slashed by it.

Transformation. His true form is actually a large demonic dog. The form itself is massive and destructive. It'll consume a lot of chroma to use it.

Resistance to purification. He's shown to be resistant to being purified due to how powerful that he is; he's gone to Mount Hakurei's purification barrier without being purified; he was weakened somewhat but nowhere near how every other demon was when in its influence. He just shrugs off most attempts to purify him. Of course, he may be feeling weakened by it but, again, he would never want to show his weaknesses to anyone.

Tensaiga. Tensaiga will be nerfed. It can no longer revive a person once, but it can still damage spirits and other beings of the Underworld (or not of the material world). If he places his hand on the hilt, he can see things that are of the spirit world, or otherwise hidden.

Bakusaiga. The Bakusaiga has explosive damage that it can do. In the series proper, he was able to kill thousands of demons with a single stroke of the sword. Again, it consumes a lot of chroma to use. In addition, it will still destroy the ability to regenerate, but only temporarily.

Armor. Seems to be capable of fixing itself after enough time has passed. It's also resistant to damage, poison, and requires a lot of force to actually break. And the mokumoku that he wears around him, not only good for fluff, but able to whip around to grab and throw people; it also appears to act as a defense, too.

INVENTORY: Tensaiga, Bakusaiga, his armor and mokumoku (the fluffy scarf that he wears).

MOONBLESSING: Sanguis.
